Willow and Ink

My hub for the expression of all of my fixations. Cricket, soccer, tennis, golf, and F1 on the sports side of things are all fair game. Film and television reviews, lamentations about the state of the entertainment industry, and excessive awards season coverage as well. Posts will be stochastic, sometimes trivial, perhaps lazily edited, and likely feature the overuse of words that my unsparing-in-criticism sister would call “pretentious and flowery.”

My theory on life is to set expectations so low that they can only be exceeded. Surely that paragraph has achieved this for any potential reader.

A necessary disclaimer

Those who know me also probably know that I am an aspiring economist. But don’t expect to see much by way of economics here. Why? Well, as part of the whole “aspiring economist” shtick, I am currently employed by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Which in turn means that what I write could spuriously be interpreted as being on behalf of the Fed. Which in turn brings me to the aforementioned disclaimer: The views expressed in this publication are personal and do not represent an official stance of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, its employees, or its affiliates.
